Is the fee really per project, not per seat?

Yes. Invite every subcontractor, designer and site team member onto the project at no extra cost — the fee covers the job, not headcount.

Can the price change once I've started?

No. Your fee is fixed to the value band you declare when you confirm the project, and it never increases mid-project.

What if my project grows past its declared band?

The confirmed fee stays fixed for that project. If you're unsure which band fits before you start, talk to us and we'll help you get it right first time.

Do subcontractors need to pay to be reviewed?

No. Reviewing a PQQ pack a subcontractor sends you is free, forever, whether or not they're a paying DocRide subscriber.

What is the Founder Price?

A launch discount off DocRide's list price — currently half price on CDM project fees, and a discounted rate on the Subcontractor Readiness Passport (£349 down to £149). It's a limited-time offer we can close at any time, but once your business buys at the Founder Price, that rate is locked in for every project you buy afterwards, for as long as you stay.

What does the Subcontractor Readiness Passport cost?

£149 a year at the founder price, locked in for as long as you stay. Being invited onto a Principal Contractor's project doesn't require the Passport — but the Passport itself is never free; it's what keeps your records built once and reused on every project, on or off DocRide.

What is Fair Usage?

Fair Usage covers AI-assisted document drafting, storage, and the number of subbies and users each subbie brings onto a project. It exists to stop the system being abused — not to restrict genuine, actual usage. For details, see our Fair Usage Policy.

Do I pay to use an OHS Consultant from the marketplace?

Yes. OHS Consultants are independent professionals who work for you on-demand — you pay them for the work you request, on top of your project fee and/or Readiness Passport fee.

Can we get a refund?

No — because we offer a 14-day Free Trial for you to test everything before you pay. If you need longer, we can extend the trial period on a case-by-case basis when requested.

Do we get everything in the Free Trial?

Yes — you get all the features. The only restriction is that you cannot Print or Save documents as PDF files until you buy.
