Does the Principal Contractor need DocRide?
They don’t need an existing DocRide account or a paid subscription to review your pack. Send it to their email address. The secure invitation link sets up free access for a new recipient; existing users sign in to review.
Can I reuse the same documents on every job?
Reuse company records that are still current. Your saved RAMS, COSHH and Emergency Plans provide starting copies for new projects. Check and adapt those copies to the actual work and site. Your Training Matrix records your company’s roles and competence requirements; share the relevant team evidence for each job. Earlier versions stay on record.
Can DocRide prepare RAMS, COSHH, Emergency Plans and a Training Matrix?
Yes. The DocRide Intelligent System helps you draft all four through the relevant document tools. Start with your business, people, equipment and work details. A competent person should review and adjust the documents before use.
Can I get professional help?
Yes. Browse the OHS Consultants Marketplace, compare experience, credentials and fees, then request a quote for part or all of your Subbie Pack. Agree the work and price, pay through DocRide and manage the review there. Consultant services cost extra; they are not included in your Passport subscription. You can also use your own health and safety professional.
What if the Principal Contractor asks for changes?
Your project card shows Change Requested. Read the shared review comments, update the relevant documents and resubmit from DocRide. Earlier document versions and shared review decisions stay recorded. Acceptance is the Principal Contractor’s decision.
What happens when certificates or inspections expire?
DocRide highlights missing, expiring and expired training evidence. Training expiry alerts appear in the app. Equipment records show inspection and calibration due dates, including overdue checks. Keep your records and schedules current so these views reflect your team and kit.
